The DKFT800 / 8-18 Fast Turn-Off Thyristor is a high-power semiconductor device designed for demanding switching applications in industrial power systems. It features an interdigitated amplifying gate, fast switching capability, high di/dt performance, and low switching loss, making it suitable for converters, choppers, and induction heating equipment. The device delivers an average on-state current of 800A, supports a repetitive peak off-state and reverse voltage range of 800V to 1800V, and provides a surge current capacity of 12kA. With a double-side cooled structure, low thermal resistance of 0.024°C/W, and a compact C19 disc package, it offers reliable thermal performance and stable operation in high-power systems. The outline drawing on page 3 shows an approximate 68mm flange diameter, 59mm body diameter, and 26.5 ±0.5mm height.
